Nick Jonas loves being a dad to his daughter Malti Marie more than anything — but he admits that there's one part of fatherhood that scares him.
The longtime musician, 33, and his brothers, Kevin and Joe, recently sat down with Esquire to talk about fame and fatherhood, including their children growing up in the spotlight.
While Nick and his wife Priyanka Chopra do their best to shield their three-year-old daughter from the downsides of fame, Nick admits that he worries about how she may be treated in the future by fans and people online.
"There's just a terrible amount of online trolls and pressures especially for young women. As a girl dad, I know that terrifies me," Nick shared with Esquire.

As for how he tries to ensure that Malti, as well as Kevin and Joe's daughters, are not influenced by the darker sides of fame, he says he makes sure that they're always surrounded by the right kind of people.
"I try to make sure they're around a lot of super powerful women like their mom," Nick said, referencing his wife in particular.
As part of their conversation with Esquire, the brothers also sat down for an episode of "What I've Learned" where Nick gushed about being a dad.
"I didn't know prior to being a parent that it was possible to access love this big. There's romantic love and we understand what that is. But when that unit then experiences big love together, this this larger than life, spiritual explosion of love...it's a profound thing," he said.
He continued, "I think it's it's changed me in ways I I can't even begin to describe."
