After meeting in New York as teenagers in 1966, the two tied the knot on June 4, 1970 and later welcoming their two daughtersJennifer and Lindsaywho have made them grandparents four times over. "We laugh, we joke, we still learn from each other," Billy toldKelly Clarksonon her show just before the couple's 51st wedding anniversary. "We still love being together ... We just have so much fun and keep discovering new things about each other. And I think that's the most important thing is to still always be curious and find out more about each other." They also have shared some tough times together, as when their home burned down in the Palisades fires in January. "We will bemarried 55 yearsin June, we've been through all kinds of hard things, but this is the most difficult thing you could possibly imagine," Crystal told PEOPLE of their home, which he'd previously said in a statement "was filled with love". "We're doing okay, because we have great family support, our daughters have been magnificent, and every day you inch forward." NEW YORK ― For years,Sean "Diddy" Combswas the embodiment of untouchable celebrity — a near-billionaire mogul who crisscrossed the globe in private jets and chartered yachts, hosting drug- and sex-fueled parties from Cannes to St. Barts to Las Vegas. To accomplish that, Combs enlisted an entourage of paid support staff and enablers who lived a life most mortals could only dream of — lavish, nonstop and, like Combs himself, at the white-hot center of fame, money and power atop the entertainment world. Drinking champagne at the Eiffel Tower at 4 a.m. Snorting from a potpourri of drugs in a luxe party bus at Burning Man. Partying at Prince's house while The Purple One performed atop a table. Sunbathing off Turks and Caicos. Jetting off to Ibiza for a rave. Now, inside a hushed Manhattan federal courtroom, that fantasy world is crashing down with the testimony of some of the very same people who made it all happen. One by one, the people who once orbited Combs − assistants, stylists, gofers and security guards − are pulling back the curtain on his carefully erected empire. They describe a Promethean lifestyle powered by wealth and fame and propelled relentlessly forward by a combination of intimidation, manipulation, violence ― and even rape. Some are testifying under federal subpoena and against their will, as is the case offormer stylist Deonte NashandDerek Ferguson, former chief financial officerfor Combs' Bad Boy Entertainment.. "Absolutely not," Nash said when asked if he was taking the stand of his own accord. More:Witnesses say Sean 'Diddy' Combs broke the law for decades. Why didn't they say anything? Some legal experts say their testimony, and that of more insiders to come, will bolster prosecutors' allegations that Combs oversaw a movable party operation that crossed the line into becoming a global criminal enterprise designed to "fulfill his sexual desires, protect his reputation, and conceal his conduct." "It seems like each and every day, the testimony gets worse and worse for Sean Combs," said David Ring, a civil trial lawyer specializing in sexual assault cases who represented one of Harvey Weinstein's victims in a civil case. "And I think we're going to see more employees come forward who have to admit on the stand that they enabled these criminal actions because they felt like they were pressured into it." Combs is the only onepublicly charged in the case, with sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty and denied all allegations of wrongdoing. His all-star team of lawyers accuses some of those now speaking out against him as joining "the #MeToo money grab against Sean Combs." That's especially the case when it comes to Combs' treatment of hislongtime girlfriend Casandra "Cassie" Ventura Fine, who the mercurial rapper is accused ofcoercing into marathon sex actsknown as "Freak Offs" and other degradations to satisfy his whims. But his prosecution, especially charges of violating theRacketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Actor RICO, hinges on the core accusation that Combs "relied on the employees, resources, and influence of the multi-faceted business empire that he led and controlled" in his rise to the top. If convicted of that RICO charge, Combs could spend the rest of his life in prison. At least oneformer executive assistant, George Kaplan, has been granted immunity to testify against Combs – an indication that they too might have been facing charges. Justice Department prosecutors have broadly hinted that there are other unindicted co-conspirators who lived the high life with Combs while doing his bidding, either willingly or under duress. Several of Combs' former aides have testified that Combs demanded not only their absolute loyalty but also their silence. Several said they feared losing their jobs, and their employability in the entertainment world, if they spoke out, including about illegal activity. But they're talking now. To make their case, prosecutors have had at least seven people in Combs' employ walk the jury through how they answered to his every whim, anywhere in the world and at any hour. One of Combs' longest-serving aides,identified only as Miato protect her privacy, testified that she worked for him from 2009 to 2017 even though he physically and emotionally terrorized and even raped her. She did so, in part, because of the professional opportunities he gave her, including founding and running a film production company. One of several yacht charters off the luxe Caribbean island of St. Barts was marred, Mia testified, by Combs screaming at her when she couldn't count the cash in his safe fast enough for him. "You better learn to walk on water like Jesus did, b*tch," Combs screamed before ordering her out of his sight. Soon after, Mia said, Combs decided to jet off to Las Vegas and demanded she accompany him. "The highs were really high but the lows were really really low," Mia said during her three days of often-emotional testimony. Mia described "magical, hilarious" and "hysterical" experiences, like partying with Leonardo DiCaprio, and drinking champagne in Paris and fending off Mick Jagger's attempts to take her home. "Puff! Sometimes life goes by at catastrophic speeds where you never get to live in and enjoy 'now,'" Mia wrote Combs in a note for his 45thbirthday in 2014. "I hope on this day you get to sit back and take it all in." Mia also said the ADHD medication she'd been taking since her late teens helped her keep up with the sleepless nights and jet lag. As the first rapper to combine the riches of a pop mega-star with the thug life ethos of rap and hip-hop music, Combs indeed did live life at "catastrophic speeds" that often crossed the line into illegality, other former staff members have testified in recent weeks. To support his high-flying lifestyle, Combs had as many as five personal assistants, executive assistants, a large security detail and at least one private chef. Also on speed dial, a drug dealer nicknamed "One Stop," because he had everything from cocaine to Plan-B and birth control to the party drug ecstasy, Combs associate and singer Dawn Richard testified. Richard said she observed Combs using weed, ketamine, cocaine and the party drug Molly, stashing his drugs in a Louis Vuitton toiletry bag. David James told jurors part of his job was picking up drugs for Combs and his friends, from Percocet prescriptions at the pharmacy to an eighth of an ounce of cocaine from a yacht in St. Tropez. Even more damaging to Combs, prosecutors suggest, could be the testimony of male former employees, especially security guards who may have been involved in recruiting and transporting women across state and national lines, key elements of the trafficking case. A former Combs' chief of staffKristina "KK" Khorram, often described as his all-knowing "right hand" could also testify. "The fact that these employees are testifying is incredibly significant to the RICO charges, because it shows that this was an enterprise that was engaged in criminal activity," Ring told USA TODAY. "If it's just Sean Combs by himself, there wouldn't be any claim of a RICO violation." By Olivia Le Poidevin GENEVA (Reuters) -Global trade tensions could disrupt ocean goods trade and will push up the price of seafood in the United States, a major importer of fish, according to a report from the United Nations trade agency published on Wednesday. U.S. President Donald Trump has imposed 10% tariffs on nearly all seafood, with China facing tariffs of 30%, according to the report by the U.N. Trade and Development agency. "Prices on fish products are likely to rise due to limited capacity to scale up local production," the report found. Wild fish stocks in the U.S. are limited due to overfishing and it takes time to scale up domestic aquaculture production, the report said. For example, salmon farms have a three-year production cycle. The U.S. exports $4.5 billion and imports $16 billion worth of fish each year, according to UNCTAD data. Brazil, which exports 55% of its primary fish products to the U.S., and China, is likely to redirect its seafood to domestic markets or alternative trading partners, UNCTAD predicted. Some maritime freight transport services may also face weaker demand due to changes in trade routes as countries seek different markets to export their goods. "Higher or volatile tariffs on ocean goods are likely to disrupt traditional trade flows, affecting both consumers and exporters," the U.N. report found. Tariffs on steel and aluminium are already driving up shipbuilding costs, as well as fish prices, UNCTAD stated. After a surge in cyberattacks in Europe, many linked to state-sponsored actors from China, Iran, North Korea and Russia, the programme aims to boost intelligence-sharing on AI-based threats and help to prevent and disrupt attacks. "If we can bring more to Europe of what we have developed in the United States, that will strengthen cybersecurity protection for more European institutions," Microsoft President Brad Smith told Reuters in an interview. "You're going to see other things we are doing later in the month." Increasingly, attackers employ generative AI to amplify the scale and impact of their operations that range from disrupting critical infrastructure to spreading disinformation. Although malicious actors have weaponised AI, Smith said AI also offered defensive tools. "We don't feel that we have seen AI that has evaded our ability to detect the use of AI or the threats more broadly," Smith said. "Our goal needs to be to keep AI advancing as a defensive tool faster than it advances as an offensive weapon," he said. Microsoft tracks any malicious use of AI models it releases and prevents known cybercriminals from using its AI products. AI-driven deepfakes have included a portrayal of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy capitulating to Russian demands in 2022 and a fake audio recording in 2023 that influenced the Slovakian election. 'Heads or Tails?' Review: Delightfully Madcap Euro-Western Serves Up Spaghetti With a Lot of Sauce

The Wild West looks tame beside the lawless, senseless Continental plains and sierras of "Heads or Tails?," an enjoyably off-kilter Euro-western that honors the stylistic and structural traditions of the genre while occupying its own reality entirely. The second feature from Italian directing duo Alessio Rigo de Righi and Matteo Zoppis features a rogue outlaw cowboy, a gutsy, pistol-toting widow and Buffalo Bill Cody himself — all variously on the loose in a suitably parched stretch of northern Italy. But if those sound like standard ingredients for an old-school oater, or even a Leone-era spaghetti joint, thissui generisitem takes a turn for the eccentric even before it pivots into outright surrealism. One of the more irreverent titles at this year's Cannes festival — where it premiered in the Un Certain Regard strand — "Heads or Tails?" is looser and loopier than de Righi and Zoppis' cultish 2021 festival hit "The Tale of King Crab," which was already plenty playful. An elegantly rustic fable, that film leaned on the pair's documentary background as it gathered regional lore and translated it into fanciful cinematic fiction. Their follow-up retains that interest in the shaggy, variable nature of folkloric storytelling, down to a framing device that presents the events on screen as dictated by Cody to a dogged personal secretary. And as played by a brash, blustering John C. Reilly — inspired casting that will boost distributor interest in this bilingual Italo-American production — the historic showman is here fashioned as the least reliable of narrators. The story is spurred by a real-life incident, when Cody's men were challenged by a group of cattle-herding Italianbutterito a kind of cowboy duel — handily won by the latter, from whom alphabutteroAugusto Imperioli emerged as a local folk hero. In the film's version of events, Imperioli becomes Santino ("The Eight Mountains" star Alessandro Borghi), a swaggeringly handsome and dumb-as-rocks stockman who wins the contest — and in turn, a healthy sum for gambling Italian nobleman Rupè (Mirko Artuso), who bet Cody the home team would prevail. At the same time, Santino catches the wandering eye of Rupè's young wife Rosa (rising French star Nadia Tereszkiewicz), who desperately wants out of her abusive trophy marriage. One close-range bullet later, Rupè is dead while Rosa and Santino flee into the wilderness, with a hefty price on the triumphant rider's head — and Cody, opportunistically turned bounty hunter, in not-so-hot pursuit. It's here that the film's interest in legend-building comes narratively into play, as Santino embraces his sudden new status as outlaw and class warrior, all for a crime he can't honestly claim to have committed. A rollicking musical sequence in which he boasts of his own ill-earned reputation is a high point in a film that repeatedly weaves song into its tapestry of tale-spinning — accentuated by the stark, naive strumming and plucking of Vittorio Giampietro's score — with Cody often editorializing proceedings with his own hearty crooning. (Reilly, never reluctant to show off his musical chops, also contributes original compositions.) Amid this clash of inflated, self-mythologizing male egos, it's Rosa who acts most intrepidly, to no great acclaim. It was ever thus. While Reilly, amusingly playing Cody as a cod-poetic blowhard, gets to do the most flamboyant scenery-chewing, it's Tereszkiewicz and Borghi who shoulder the bulk of the film as runaway lovers bound by little more than a passing, fatal whim. Both fully look the part of their respective genre archetypes — Borghi especially, with his sky-blue scowl and sandy stubble, was born to do at least one Italian horse opera in his career — while their performances undercut those expectations from the inside out. Borghi's cowboy is all hollow puff and wilting resolve, while Tereszkiewicz plays Rosa neither as feisty dame nor damsel in distress: Instead she's terse and guarded, even when shooting a man's testicles off with fearsome precision. Rosa's quiet nerve equips her better than other characters for a thoroughly unhinged final act, which shifts the register from folk tale to adult fairytale, in which regular rules of life, death and reason no longer apply. This shift into more fantastical terrain leaves the traditionally lean human dynamics of the western far behind, and may divide audiences. Yet "Heads or Tails?" pulls it off, in large part because the scrubby, sunbaked textures of its story world remain so vividly consistent. Shooting mostly on film of varying stock, DP Simone D'Arcangelo authentically honors both the tawny beauty of the film's real-life landscape and the earthy severity of the continent-mixing Leone-land that inspired de Righi and Zoppis — and even serves up some of the blushing, saturated Campari sunsets of more romanticized Hollywood westerns, minus any true heroes to ride off into them.
