Tom Holland has finally revealed his new Spidey suit for "Spider-Man: Brand New Day." Holland asks in the video. The new costume has brighter reds and blues and sports a larger spider insignia than his past suits from "Spider-Man: Homecoming," "Far From Home" and "No Way Home." The upcoming "Spider-Man: Brand New Day," set to release in theaters on July 31, 2026. "Brand New Day" is the fourth Spidey movie from Sony and Disney in the MCU, following the blockbuster "Spider-Man: No Way Home" in 2021. This will be the first time Holland has reappeared in the MCU since joining the screen with Sony's two previous Spider-Men, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, in "No Way Home." In "No Way Home," Parker Parker's true identity as Spider-Men is revealed to the entire world (thanks to Jake Gyllenhaal's Mysterio spilling the beans at the end of 2019's "Far From Home"). With his privacy erased, he turns to Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange to cast a spell and make everyone forget that he's Spider-Man. However, the spell has some unintended consequences and pulls in the other web-slingers and their villains from other dimensions. The three team up to defeat the evildoers, but in the end Peter makes the tough decision and allows Doctor Strange to finish his spell and make everyone forget his identity. That means his girlfriend M.J. Watson-Jones (Zendaya), best friend Ned Leeds (Jacob Batalon) and everyone else has forgotten who Peter is. Also, in a tragic accident, Peter's Aunt May (Marisa Tomei) dies. Thus comes "Brand New Day," which pulls inspiration from the Spider-Man comic storyline of the same name. In the comics, Spidey makes a deal with the devil Mephisto to make the world forget his identity and to resurrect Aunt May, but it also dissolves his marriage to MJ and effectively reboots his world. "Shang-Chi" director Destin Daniel Cretton directs "Brand New Day," which will also introduce Sadie Sink and Liza Colón-Zayas to the MCU. Jon Bernthal's vigilante the Punisher and Mark Ruffalo's Bruce Banner, aka the Hulk, will also appear in the movie. "At that point, I gave it the day, made sure that that was the correct feeling and that it didn't go away. And it didn't. Trump reaffirms support for Morocco's sovereignty over Western SaharaNew Foto - Trump reaffirms support for Morocco's sovereignty over Western Sahara

RABAT (Reuters) -U.S. President Donald Trump has reaffirmed support for Morocco's sovereignty over Western Sahara, saying a Moroccan autonomy plan for the territory was the sole solution to the disputed region, state news agency MAP said on Saturday. The long-frozen conflict pits Morocco, which considers the territory as its own, against the Algeria-backed Polisario Front, which seeks an independent state there. Trump at the end of his first term in office recognised the Moroccan claims to Western Sahara, which has phosphate reserves and rich fishing grounds, as part of a deal under which Morocco agreed to normalise its relations with Israel. His secretary of state, Marco Rubio, made clear in April that support for Morocco on the issue remained U.S. policy, but these were Trump's first quoted remarks on the dispute during his second term. "I also reiterate that the United States recognises Moroccan sovereignty over Western Sahara and supports Morocco's serious, credible and realistic autonomy proposal as the only basis for a just and lasting solution to the dispute," MAP quoted Trump as saying in a message to Morocco's King Mohammed VI. "Together we are advancing shared priorities for peace and security in the region, including by building on the Abraham Accords, combating terrorism and expanding commercial cooperation," Trump said. As part of the Abraham Accords signed during Trump's first term, four Muslim-majority countries agreed to normalise diplomatic relations with Israel after U.S. mediation. In June this year, Britain became the third permanent member of the U.N. Security Council to back an autonomy plan under Moroccan sovereignty for the territory after the U.S. and France. Algeria, which has recognised the self-declared Sahrawi Republic, has refused to take part in roundtables convened by the U.N. envoy to Western Sahara and insists on holding a referendum with independence as an option. Appeals court keeps order blocking Trump administration from indiscriminate immigration sweepsNew Foto - Appeals court keeps order blocking Trump administration from indiscriminate immigration sweeps

A federal appeals court ruled Friday night to uphold a lower court's temporary order blocking the Trump administration from conducting indiscriminate immigration stops and arrests in Southern California. A three-judge panel of the Ninth US Circuit Court of Appeals held a hearing Monday afternoon at which the federal government asked the court to overturn atemporary restraining orderissued July 12 by Judge Maame E. Frimpong, arguing it hindered their enforcement of immigration law. Immigrant advocacy groups filed suitlast month accusing President Donald Trump's administration of systematically targeting brown-skinned people in Southern California during the administration's crackdown on illegal immigration. The lawsuit included three detained immigrants and two U.S. citizens as plaintiffs. In her order, Frimpong said there was a "mountain of evidence" that federal immigration enforcement tactics were violating the Constitution. She wrote the government cannot use factors such as apparent race or ethnicity, speaking Spanish or English with an accent, presence at a location such as a tow yard or car wash, or someone's occupation as the only basis for reasonable suspicion to detain someone. The Los Angeles region has been a battleground with the Trump administration over its aggressive immigration strategy that spurred protests and thedeployment of the National Guardsand Marines for several weeks. Federal agents have rounded upimmigrantswithout legal status to be in the U.S. from Home Depots, car washes, bus stops, and farms, many who have lived in the country for decades. Among the plaintiffs is Los Angeles resident Brian Gavidia, who was shown in a video taken by a friend June 13 being seized by federal agents as he yells, "I was born here in the states, East LA bro!" They want to "send us back to a world where a US citizen … can be grabbed, slammed against a fence and have his phone and ID taken from him just because he was working at a tow yard in a Latino neighborhood," American Civil Liberties Union attorney Mohammad Tajsar told the court. The federal government argued that it hadn't been given enough time to collect and present evidence in the lawsuit, given that it was filed shortly before the July 4 holiday and a hearing was held the following week. "It's a very serious thing to say that multiple federal government agencies have a policy of violating the Constitution," attorney Jacob Roth said. He also argued that the lower court's order was too broad, and that immigrant advocates did not present enough evidence to prove that the government had an official policy of stopping people without reasonable suspicion. He referred to the four factors of race, language, presence at a location, and occupation that were listed in the temporary restraining order, saying the court should not be able to ban the government from using them at all. He also argued that the order was unclear on what exactly is permissible under law. "Legally, I think it's appropriate to use the factors for reasonable suspicion," Roth said The judges sharply questioned the government over their arguments. "No one has suggested that you cannot consider these factors at all," Judge Jennifer Sung said. However, those factors alone only form a "broad profile" and don't satisfy the reasonable suspicion standard to stop someone, she said. Sung, a Biden appointee, said that in an area like Los Angeles, where Latinos make up as much as half the population, those factors "cannot possibly weed out those who have undocumented status and those who have documented legal status." She also asked: "What is the harm to being told not to do something that you claim you're already not doing?" For more CNN news and newsletters create an account atCNN.com

Brooke Hogan's Estrangement from Dad Hulk Had 'Nothing to Do with' His Third Wife Sky, Says Her Husband (Exclusive)New Foto - Brooke Hogan's Estrangement from Dad Hulk Had 'Nothing to Do with' His Third Wife Sky, Says Her Husband (Exclusive)

KMazur/WireImage Brooke Hogan's estrangement from her father Hulk "had nothing to do with" his third marriage to Sky Daily, Brooke's husband Steven Oleksy tells PEOPLE exclusively The estrangement, which started two years before Hulk's death, was because of "the way he treated her," Olesky says The former NHL player says he kept in contact with Brooke's family during the last two years, but "every conversation" with Hulk "led me further to protect my family" Brooke Hogan's reasons for cutting communication with her fatherHulkin the two years before his death "had nothing to do with his new wife" Sky Daily, says her husbandSteven Oleksy. Oleksy, 39, says Hulk perpetuated the narrative that Brooke cut off communication with him because she disapproved of his new marriage — but "that's not the case at all," the former hockey player tells PEOPLE. "My wife will say it — it had nothing to do with his new wife. It had to do with the way he treated [Brooke]," says Oleksy. The support Brooke had given her father — who was embroiled in several controversies during his career, including using racial slurs towards his daughter's ex-boyfriend in a leakedaudio recording— had "really taken a toll on her," says her husband. "It was a situation where she loved her dad very, very much," Olesky says. When Brooke and Oleksy married in June 2022, Hulk declined to walk her down the aisle, and was not in attendance at the ceremony at all, telling Oleksy he "doesn't do weddings or funerals anymore." George Pimentel/WireImage Then, over a "series of phone calls" between Brooke and Hulk, "there were some things said, and a lot of mistruths," says Olesky, and it was thefinal straw of their relationship. Brooke did not attend her father'sthird wedding to Daily in October 2023. In the two years since, Olesky "remained in contact with members of her family to try to keep that door open and understand if I should protect my wife or try to mend the relationship." Brooke Oleksy/instagram But Oleksy says that "each and every conversation" he had with his father-in-law during those two years "just led me further to protect my family and my wife at all costs." Navigating the Hogans' complicated relationships was "challenging" for Oleksy over the last two years. He says he was grateful to have gotten to "experience the love my wife had for her dad and entire family every day," but that it was taxing. "With that love comes heartache and comes many challenges that she's faced in the public and that she still faces today because of others' actions," he adds. "At the end of the day, knowing how much she loves everybody in her family, I always try to support decisions that she made, and I always tried to support the relationships that she envisioned." Now, as they continue grieving in the public eye, Oleksy and his wife are happy to have each other and grateful for the support of their friends. "We believe family is created, and through these trying times, great people have come into our life or come back into our life, and it's brought us some great relationships and a great support system that we look at as family," he says. And there's plenty for the Oleksys to look forward to with their 7-month-old twins,Oliver Andrew and Molly Gene, whom he calls "absolute bundles of joy." "I'm looking forward to getting back and shifting our focus on our own family, and just taking the lessons that we've learned through these situations and just incorporating them into our own family and making sure that our son and daughter feel the love that we have for them each and every day," he says.
