Jack Osbourneis addressing some less-than-kind remarksRoger Watersmade about his late father,Ozzy Osbourne. In August, the 81-year-old Pink Floyd founding member sat down for an interview with the YouTube channelThe Independent Inkand critiqued the former Black Sabbath frontman and his music. "Ozzy Osbourne, who just died, bless him in his whatever that state that he was in his whole life. We'll never know," the English singer-songwriter remarked. "Although he was all over the TV for hundreds of years with his idiocy and nonsense." "The music, I have no idea. I couldn't give a f**k. I don't care about Black Sabbath, I never did," Waters admitted. "I have no interest in biting the heads of chickens or whatever they do. I couldn't care less." The interviewer corrected Waters in that the "Paranoid" singer accidentally bit the head off a bat, not a chicken, at a concert in Des Moines, Iowa back in the 1980s. Following Waters' comments, Jack, 39,came to his dad's defenseand fired back via social media on Tuesday, September 2. "Hey @rogerwaters. F**k You. How pathetic and out of touch you've become," Jack wrote on his Instagram Story. "The only way you seem to get attention these days is by vomiting out bulls**t in the press." Idaho attorney general says officers who fatally shot intellectually disabled teen won't be chargedNew Foto - Idaho attorney general says officers who fatally shot intellectually disabled teen won't be charged

Four Idahopolice officers who fatally shotan autistic, nonverbal teenage boy who was holding a knife on the other side of a chain-link fence in April were justified in their actions and will not face criminal charges, the state attorney general said Wednesday. Victor Perez, 17, was in a coma for a week beforedying April 12after doctors removed nine bullets during several surgeries and amputated his leg. The shooting in southeast Idaho city of Pocatello, which was captured on video, drew outrage from members of the community who questioned why the officers opened fire within 12 seconds of exiting their vehicles. The Bannock County Prosecutor's Office asked Idaho Attorney General Raúl Labrador to review the case to determine whether the officers committed a crime and if their use of force was justified. Labrador said the investigation showed that the officers did not know Perez's age or disabilities, and they were only told an intoxicated man was threatening people with a knife. "Believing that individuals were in danger of being stabbed, the officers chose to run toward the fence in case the officers needed to take immediate action to protect others from harm," he said in a letter to the prosecutor. "The officers' decision to place themselves at the fence to protect others made the officers vulnerable to a knife attack from someone standing immediately on the other side of the fence. "Under Idaho law, the officers did not have a duty to retreat from the fence before using deadly force," Labrador said. These factors would make a criminal prosecution untenable, so they will not file charges against the officers, he said. Ben Nisenbaum, an Oakland, California, lawyer representing thefamily in a wrongful death claimagainst the city of Pocatello, said the family was deeply disappointed by the attorney general's decision, arguing that the officers had a duty to retreat. "At the end of the day, anyone responding to that situation would know he was developmentally disabled by the way he was acting. It was obvious," Nisenbaum told The Associated Press in a phone interview. "Stepping away was what a reasonable person would do." Email and phone messages seeking comment from Pocatello Police Chief Roger Schei about the attorney general's decision and whether the officers faced discipline were not immediately returned. Perez, who is autistic, has an abnormal gait and other medical conditions had managed to get ahold of a large kitchen knife on April 5 and was walking around the yard swinging it. Video shows his grandfather, mother and 16-year-old sister trying to take it from him. A person who saw the struggle called 911, saying it appeared the person was intoxicated and was trying to stab people. Three officers arrived and approached the backyard carrying Glock handguns, and a fourth officer had a beanbag shotgun. The sister waved her arms at the officers and shouted, but they focused their attention on Perez, who was lying on the ground, the attorney general's letter said. They shouted for Perez to drop the knife, and he got up on his knees. He pointed the blade to the sky as he fell forward, catching himself with his hand. He stood up and stepped toward the officers and they opened fire — releasing fourteen bullets and a beanbag shot. Investigators estimated the distance between them and Perez was about 12 feet (3.6 meters). The Eastern Idaho Critical Incident Task Force investigated the shooting. The autopsy said the cause of death was multiple gunshot wounds. The officers gave interviews to the task force, but they declined to speak with the attorney general's office, the letter said. Instead, they sent audio recordings and transcripts of interviews they gave to a third party, the letter said. After reviewing the material collected, the attorney general said they won't file criminal charges against the officers "because the state would be unable to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the officers' use of force was not justified."

Famed streetcar in Lisbon, Portugal, derails and crashes, killing 15 peopleNew Foto - Famed streetcar in Lisbon, Portugal, derails and crashes, killing 15 people

LISBON, Portugal (AP) — Apicturesque electric streetcarthat is one of Lisbon's big tourist attractions derailed and crashed Wednesday, killing 15 people and injuring 18 others, emergency services said. Five of the injured were in serious condition and a child was among the injured, Portugal's National Institute for Medical Emergencies said in a statement, adding that an unknown number of foreigners were among the injured. Authorities called it an accident, the worst in the city's recent history, and it cast a pall over Lisbon's charm for themillions of foreign touristswho arrive every year. Officials did not immediately provide a cause of the crash. The yellow-and-white streetcar, which is known as Elevador da Gloria and goes up and down a steep downtown hill, was lying on its side on the narrow road that it travels on, its sides and top crumpled. It appeared to have crashed into a building where the road bends, leaving parts of the mostly metal vehicle crushed. "It hit the building with brutal force and fell apart like a cardboard box…" Teresa d'Avó told Portuguese TV channel SIC. Several dozen emergency workers were at the scene but most stood down after about two hours. Eyewitnesses told local media that the streetcar careened down the hill, apparently out of control. One witness said the streetcar toppled onto a man on a sidewalk. Videos shared widely across social media of the moments after the accident showed what appeared to be heavy smoke in the air as people got out of a streetcar just in front of the one that crashed, some racing up the hill to the wreckage as people around yelled. Carris, the company that operates the streetcar, said scheduled maintenance had been carried out. It offered its deepest condolences to the victims and their families in a social media post, and promised that all due diligence would be taken in finding the causes of the accident. Lisbon's City Council suspended operations of other streetcars in the city and ordered immediate inspections, local media reported. President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa offered his condolences to affected families, and Lisbon Mayor Carlos Moedas said the city was in mourning. "It's a tragedy of the like we've never seen," Moedas said. Portugal's government announced that a day of national mourning would be observed on Thursday. "A tragic accident … caused the irreparable loss of human life, which left in mourning their families and dismayed the whole country," it said in a statement. European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen also sent her condolences. "It is with sadness that I learned of the derailment of the famous Elevador da Gloria," she wrote in Portuguese on X. The crash reportedly occurred at the start of the evening rush hour, around 6 p.m. Emergency officials said all victims were pulled out of the wreckage in just over two hours. An investigation into the causes will begin once the rescue operation is over, the government said. SITRA, a trade union, wrote in a post on social media that one of its members died in the accident. Spanish Prime MinisterPedro Sánchezwrote on X that he was "appalled by the terrible accident," while Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani wrote that he had met with the Portuguese foreign minister and expressed his "solidarity with the victims." The U.S. Embassy Lisbon also offered its "deepest condolences to all affected," according to a post on X. The streetcar, technically called a funicular, is harnessed by steel cables and can carry more than 40 people, seated and standing. It is also commonly used by Lisbon residents. The service up and down a few hundred meters (yards) of a hill on a curved, traffic-free road in tandem with one going the opposite way inaugurated in 1885. It is classified as a national monument. Lisbon hosted around 8.5 million tourists last year, and long lines of people typically form for the brief rides on the popular streetcar. ___ Associated Press reporter Hallie Golden in Seattle contributed to this report.

Inside Madonna and Sean Penn's Star-Studded 1985 Beach Wedding: Who Was There and What They WoreNew Foto - Inside Madonna and Sean Penn's Star-Studded 1985 Beach Wedding: Who Was There and What They Wore

People; Laura Luongo/Liaison Madonna and Sean Penn wed in an extravagant ceremony in Malibu in 1985, which was disrupted by swirling helicopters full of photographers The bride wore a custom gown designed by her Like a Virgin tour designer, while Penn wore an off-the-rack Versace suit After the vows, guests ate food from Spago and danced to hits that included Madonna's own song "Into the Groove" Forty years ago, the talk of the town in Hollywood was all aboutMadonnaandSean Penn'swildbeach weddingin Malibu. In August 1985, PEOPLE did a cover story on the Aug. 16 event (Madonna's 27th birthday; Penn had just turned 25), including details about who was there, what the guests ate and what the bride and groom wore. Despite a sea of helicopters overhead, security was tight leading up to the ceremony. At the huge wooden gates at real-estate developer Dan Unger's $6.5 million home, guards oversaw an I.D. check of all who entered, while other security guards armed themselves with infrared binoculars to scan the perimeter for intruders. (They found one interloper, an Italian photographer, who had been hiding in the shrubbery since 1:30 a.m.) Despite the overhead interruptions, the day was still incredibly romantic as 220 friends, family and colleagues joined Madonna's seven brothers and sisters, her 73-year-old grandmother, the groom's family and friends like Rosanna Arquette, Christopher Walken,Carrie Fisher, Andy Warhol, Diane Keaton and Tom Cruise. Barry King/WireImage For the nuptials, guests stood around a poolside setting overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Shortly before 6:30 p.m., Penn appeared in a double-breasted $695 Gianni Versace suit he had bought off the rack one week earlier on Rodeo Drive. Barry King/WireImage Madonna came out wearing a strapless Cinderella gown created by her"Like a Virgin"tour designer and video image-maker, Marlene Stewart. Her hair was in a classic French twist and covered with a black bowler draped in cream-colored tulle. Though at the time she was known for wearing a stack of bangles on her arms and giant crucifix necklaces, for jewelry, she opted for a single long earring and an antique pearl bracelet. Draped across her dress like a beauty contestant's sash was a silver-and-pink silk metallic net, dripping with encrusted jewels, pearls and dried roses. "We wanted a '50s feeling," designer Stewart would say later, "something Grace Kelly might have worn."Madonna walked down the aisle on the arm of her father to the song "Moments of Love." Actor James Foley was Penn's best man, while Madonna's sister Paula was the maid of honor. The couple exchanged vows in a five-minute ceremony conducted by Judge John Merrick. Penn then lifted his wife's veil and, to the accompaniment of the theme from Chariots of Fire, planted a kiss on her and sparked a standing ovation. AP Photo/Doug Pizac After the vows, waiters rushed out with trays of Cristal champagne and sushi, as Malcolm McLaren's "Madame Butterfly" blared from loudspeakers. Moments later, the newlyweds appeared on a balcony. Penn toasted "the most beautiful woman in the world," and struggled playfully to remove her garter for the obligatory toss. The partygoers then adjourned to a white open-air tent and a feast prepared by Spago restaurant: a five-tier hazelnut wedding cake with sugar flowers, lobster ravioli, rack of lamb, swordfish and baked potatoes stuffed with sour cream and caviar. Table wines included an Acacia Pinot Noir from California's Madonna Vineyard. As evening fell, guests moved to a parquet dance floor set up over the tennis courts and lit with pink floodlights. Disc jockey Terence Toy opened with a swing-era tape, then switched to livelier fare — Motown's greatest dance tunes and Madonna's own "Into the Groove." The bride danced with her usual enthusiasm, even lifting her layered skirt during one fast-moving number to reveal a flowered-brocade slip underneath. At about 10:00 p.m., the get-together began its slow dissolve. "It was all very intimate, except for those obnoxious helicopters," departing Susan Seidelman, director ofDesperately Seeking Susan, told PEOPLE at the time. "A very classy affair," said another guest. "Like Tiffany's with just a dash of flash." DMI/The LIFE Picture Collection/Shutterstock Madonna and Penn's love story had initially surprised plenty of people in the industry. Penn, who'd made a name for himself acting in films likeFast Times at Ridgemont HighandThe Falcon and the Snowman, was notoriously camera-wary and had routinely refused interviews. When he wasn't working, he was usually club hopping with the Brat Packers and actors Timothy Hutton, Emilio Estevez and Cruise. However, when he met Madonna during the taping of her "Material Girl" video, he was smitten. He told his wedding guests that he'd been looking at a book of quotations while hanging with a friend, picked it up and turned to a random page, and read the following: "'She had the innocence of a child and the wit of a man.' I looked at my friend, and he just said, 'Go get her.' The courtship had its rocky moments, but friends at the time said their love was the real deal. "I've never seen two more passionate people. Forget about the superstar stuff; Madonna is a girl wildly in love," a friend of Madonna's told PEOPLE. After the wedding, they had plans to build a spacious estate in Malibu that would be beyond private. The couple divorced in 1989, though Madonna later reflected on her feelings for Penn in her 1991 documentaryTruth or Dare, calling him "The love of her life." They went on to remain good friends.
