In the new WesternThe Unholy Trinity, Pierce, 72, stars as a sheriff in 1870s Montana. During the making of the film, thefather of five's two youngest children Dylan and Paris visited their dad on set, which ultimately led to them making their big screen acting debuts. When asked what it meant to share scenes with his sons after so many years of bringing them to movie sets, the former James Bond star praised the "beautiful emotion" of the experience. "To be able to share that with them is a gift of time and memory," he adds. The actor shares Dylan, 28, and Paris, 24, with his filmmaker and philanthropist wifeKeely Shaye. (Pierce is also a father to three children whom he shared with his first wife, the late actress Cassandra Harris: Christopher, 52, Sean, 41, and late daughter Charlotte, who died of ovarian cancer in 2013.) "We always stayed together tight as a family unit during the days of James Bond, and now of course, as they're older, here to be able to make movies with Dad," Pierce says of Dylan and Paris. Roadside Attractions InThe Unholy Trinity, Dylan and Paris star as a pastor and the son of one of Pierce's character's rivals in the town of Trinity, Montana. Prior to appearing in the Western, both had acting and writing credits in separate short films, but as Paris tells PEOPLE, he was not entirely sure about pursuing movie-making as a profession in the past. "We've been asked quite often if we wanna act. And for the longest time, I didn't really know how to respond to that. I didn't really know if I wanted to do it because it seemed daunting," Paris says. "Sometimes you feel nervous to approach it, but this was the most perfect experience and way to get into it because it was so close to home and Dad, so there's no pressure." 'It's just something we've been around for our whole lives and probably will continue to be around our whole lives," Dylan adds. "It's sort of one thing leads to another and it was just really nice to go spend time with Dad and Paris and be a part of that. I would do it again in a heartbeat." Paris is continuing with his acting career and currently filming a movie with John Rhys-Davies titledOverhill Manorwhile Dylan considers his next project. Might the father-sons trio appear together again onscreen? "I would jump into the trenches any day of the week with you Brosnan men," Pierce tells his sons.
