It is no light honor to be named a member of the Business of Fashion 500's annual class, and last night, the 2025 recipients showed up to celebrate their accomplishments with their peers. Hosted in Paris as part of the fashion week schedule, the gala brought together fashion designers, executives, entrepreneurs, visual creatives, behind-the-scenes catalysts, and models, each leaders in their respective fields. And with attendees such as BoF cover star Kim Kardashian and runway favorite Alex Consani, it was a particularly star-studded cohort.

Among them, Charli XCX, awarded a spot in the "Models & Muses" category, showed up in an angelic white dress. Recognized for the cultural impact of her 2024 album Brat, which shifted fashion and beauty trends away from the "clean girl" aesthetic and into a grungier, more rebellious place, she proved herself to be a style icon alongside a musician—bridging the artistries in an authentic, captivating manner.

In her first appearance since the release of Taylor Swift's "Actually Romantic," a rumored response to XCX's "Sympathy is a Knife," the star stepped out in a daring, but relatively classic look—in line with her recent styling and glam, which has taken a more simplistic, natural turn. For the celebration, she picked out transparent high-low dress, mini in the front with a train in the back. The see-through piece was designed with long, billowing sleeves and frilly trim, with undone ties adding a deconstructed nonchalance to the otherwise feminine elegance.
With a natural complexion, relatively bare eyes, and hair falling naturally in waves, she kept things simple. She pared the look with Saint Laurent slingback heels and black nails.
