Seeking Sister Wife star Dannielle Merrifield got emotional while making room for her soon-to-be sister wife, Lorrana, in Garrick Merrifield's bedroom.
Ahead of the Oct. 6 episode of the TLC series, the network shared an exclusive sneak peek of Lorrana moving in with the Merrifields.

In a different arrangement than many polygamist families, Dannielle and Lorrana will share a sister wife bedroom and take turns staying with Garrick in the master bedroom. (Instead of the husband taking turns spending the night in the bedrooms of his wives.) An exclusive clip from TLC shows Dannielle struggling with her new reality as she moves her belongings out of Garrick's room.
"Oh my gosh, I'm taking my stuff out of Garrick's space, and what that really means in my mind, and trying to process that," Dannielle told producers of her feelings as she moved her clothing out of the master bedroom.
In the scene itself, she pointed out, "It's kind of like packing for a trip, but you don't even know where you're going and what to bring."
Dannielle continued in the confessional, "It doesn't feel normal. It doesn't feel real yet. It's going to take some time, I think, to settle in that this is our new normal."
Lorrana, who is from Brazil, then said to the camera in Portuguese, "It's different. Everything is different. I think God has already prepared me because I want to live here with them. So little by little, I'm adapting. I'm learning."
After getting a bit choked up while moving clothes in the walk-in closet, Dannielle used her phone to translate a message to Lorrana, telling her, "I do feel a little bit emotional. I know it's good, but I'm not sure what to bring and what to leave."
Lorranna then told Dannielle in a translated response, "I totally understand, especially because you always kept your things here in the room itself. It was just yours. But don't worry about everything now. You only take the essentials."
"I'm just a little emotional because I've always shared a room with Garrick," Dannielle told producers. She added, "It's good. I'm happy, but it's just..." as she was at a loss for words, and Lorrana put a comforting hand on her shoulder.
