Set in Toledo, Ohio, the series focuses on a once prominent Midwestern newspaper trying to establish its place in mass culture, all the while contending with the difficulties of the modern internet age. Starring Domhnall Gleeson, Sabrina Impacciatore, Melvin Gregg, Chelsea Frei, Tim Key and Alex Edelman, among many others, Peacock has just announced that the show will premiere on the streaming platform on September 4. In particular, Peacock will begin streaming the first four episodes ofThe Paperon that specific date. Following this, two new episodes of the show will arrive on Peacock every Thursday, with the season's finale scheduled to arrive on September 25 for a total of 10 episodes. While it's perhaps worth wondering how exactlyThe Paperwill tie in to the overall continuity ofThe Office,we do know that several cast and crew members will play a role in the new spinoff, both in front of and behind the camera.
