PerThe Daily Record, the guest list included his onscreen parents-in-law,Caitriona Balfe(Claire Fraser) andSam Heughan(Jamie Fraser), as well as Lauren Lyle (Marsali MacKimmie Fraser), John Bell (Young Ian), Joey Phillips (Denzell Hunter), Izzy Meikle-Small (Rachel Hunter), Caitlin O'Ryan (Lizzie Wemyss), and Paul Gorman (Josiah and Kezzie Beardsley). Scottish actor Jamie Roy, one of the stars of theOutlanderprequel,Blood of my Blood,which is premiering on August 8, was also in attendance. (Roy is playingBrian Fraser, father of Heughan's Jamie.) Based on photos, it appears that Rankin's onscreen wife, Sophie Skelton, who plays Brianna MacKenzie, was not present. According toher IMDB profile, she is currently shooting the sequel toI Can Only Imaginewith Dennis Quaid and Milo Ventimiglia in Nashville. The film is scheduled to premiere in 2026. Hopetoun House, which is open for private events like weddings but also public tours (including anOutlander-specific tour), has appeared onseveral seasons ofOutlander. The rural estate was used as the home of the Duke of Sandringham for the first three seasons as well as to stand in for the home of the Dunsany family in England's Lake District in season four. Outlander'seighth and final seasonis expected to debut either in late 2025 or early 2026.
