Ex-college football coach hits out at woke state for defying Trump order on trans athletes in women's sports
Football-coach-turned-politician Tommy Tuberville branded Maine Governor Janet Mills a 'total a**' over her refusal to ban transgender athletes in women's sport. Mills went viral last week after the Democratic governor had a face-off with president Trump over his 'keeping men out of women's sports' order. The White House threatened to withdraw federal funding from Maine at the National Governors Association dinner after the state defied his executive order. 'Your population doesn't want men playing in women's sports,' Trump told her.
