On Tuesday, we featured a guide's footage showing a massive bison stampede in Wyoming’s Grand Teton National Park. Billy Fabian of Jackson Hole Ecotours described the event as "Maybe the most awe inspiring event I have ever seen.”
We also discovered a video clip that shows the stampede from a different angle, including closeups of bison bounding over and tearing through wire-lined wooden fencing. (See John Putrino's footage video below.)
Some might find that aspect of the footage disturbing, along with the fact that portions of Grand Teton National Park still contain wired-lined ranch or cattle fencing.
But viewers will note the relative ease with which the bison powered through the fence.
Putrino’s footage begins with the bison gaining momentum during the stampede with the majestic Teton Range as a backdrop.
