Kate Middletonand Prince William are reportedly at odds over how to handle the ongoing feud with Prince Harry. A new report claims the Princess of Wales believes the brothers should begin repairing their relationship, while William remains firmly against reconciliation. The alleged disagreement comes as speculation continues over whether the royal family can move past its long-running divisions.

According to Heat World, Kate Middleton has grown increasingly vocal about her desire to see Prince William reconcile with Prince Harry. An insider claimed the Princess of Wales no longer believes the family can continue to avoid the issue.
“Kate did her best to step back and let them work things out on their own, but there’s been zero progress,” the source alleged. “Her instinct is to do everything she can to fix this.”
The report claimed Kate believes the ongoing silence between the brothers reflects poorly on the royal family. The insider also suggested she wants William to consider setting aside past grievances for the sake of the family.
According to the source, the King has also made his wishes for reconciliation known within the family. “The King has repeatedly let it be known this is what he wants,” the insider claimed. “He’s not going to force William, but the assumption was that William would comply out of respect.”
The source added that William has not changed his position, leaving Kate disappointed by the lack of progress. “As everyone can see, that has not happened, which is very disappointing for Kate, too,” the insider alleged.
The report also claimed Kate believes family unity should remain a priority as Prince Harry continues living in the U.K. with Meghan Markle and their children following the family’s return earlier this year.
However, the insider alleged that William remains deeply opposed to reconciliation. “William says Kate is asking him to forgive the unforgivable, and it annoys the hell out of him that she’s pushing him to do something he’s so against,” the source claimed.
Neither Kensington Palace nor the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have publicly commented on the latest claims about the reported family tensions.
