Certain cat breeds boast extra fluffy coats. Maine Coons, Persians, Ragdolls, and Himalayans are just a few examples of felines with cloud-like coats that could make you do a double take. Sometimes there’s so much fur, they look like oversized cotton balls with paws.

Charlie the Siberian cat is a perfect example of that “puffball with whiskers” appearance, and resembles a beloved sweet treat.

In the TikTok from @charlieinlondon, the pretty kitty was in his cat bed at the bottom of the stairs. Charlie was enjoying a good nap while lying on his back, clearly in a cycle of REM sleep.

Yet Charlie looked more like a wand of cotton candy than cat. His mountain of fluff seemed to spill over the cat bed in all directions. A little head peeked out at the top of the poofy pile of fur, and you could barely make out four tiny paws amidst the sea of luxurious locks.

“The winter fluff is fluffing,” the caption noted.

Followers fell for the feline fur baby and raved over his billowy mane:

“I thought that was a rug from IKEA,” one shared.

“Is this the cat version of big boned? Extra fluffed,” another posted.

“I think you should open a business so we can just come snuggle your cat,” a follower suggested.

“I want to put my face in the floof,” another remarked.

“The way his head is barely showing through all that fluff,” a fan pointed out.

Caring for Your Siberian Cat’s Coat

Siberian cats are known for their lush, velvety fur that seems like it requires regular salon appointments. However, the unique texture of their triple coat is actually low-maintenance for a longhaired breed and is less prone to matting and tangling than one would expect.

Brushing your Siberian kitty two to three times a week helps keep your cat’s coat healthy and reduces shedding, especially during spring and fall. A stainless steel comb and slicker brush are effective in grooming a thick Siberian coat and make the experience enjoyable for your cat. Always give a gentle brushing to their tail and toe tufts to remove any debris.

Charlie’s coat is obviously well-maintained, though it probably takes quite a long time to groom that cloud of spun sugar.
