A grieving father, Kelik Summer, on Friday identified the youngest victim of the tragic shooting at an Oregon elementary school that killed four, expressing that today is the "worst day" of his life.
He is said to be the father of Rhoam Summer, 5, who was horrifically shot dead by the John J. Griffin, 16. He was reportedly armed with his mother's pump-action shotgun, using it to kill school staff and children.
Authorities said a total of three children and one teacher were murdered inside Silver Rail Elementary School on Thursday. The total number of injuries has not been specified.
Additionally, a 7-year-old student and 54-year-old teacher also sustained injuries during the terrifying ordeal. Their injuries were described as serious, but no further information has been provided, including their identities and those of other victims. Griffin was eventually shot and killed by a bystander believed to be the parent of a student.
"Today has been the worst day of my life. My son Rhoam was killed in a school shooting," the heartbroken parent wrote on Facebook."We are broken and lost, but are surrounded by friends and family who are keeping us safe."

The community has reportedly rallied behind the grief-stricken family. A Meal Train fundraiser organized Thursday night has collected more than $23,000.

It said: 'In the wake of an unimaginable tragedy, the Summer family is grieving the heartbreaking loss of their sweet 5-year-old son, Rhoam.
"There are no words that can ease the pain of losing a child, and no family should ever have to experience a loss like this. As they navigate the days and weeks ahead, we want to come together as a community to surround them with love, compassion, and support."

"We will always remember him, and have him in our hearts. This is a nightmare, but I know we need to remain strong, and supportive of his family and the families of others right now. And our community as a whole. We need each other more than ever today. If you can, please help Rhoam’s family during this time that is just unimaginable. So many prayers heard today," the mom continued.
"We need to keep them going. Don’t let up. We all love you very much Rhoam and Summer family."
