Comedian and magician Archie Manners has revealed insights into how his friend Prince Harry is truly feeling since relocating back to the UK with his wife, Meghan Markle, and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

During an appearance on Patrick Christy's GB News program, he declined to address whether Harry's resumption of public duties represented an effort to repair his relationship with brother Prince William. However, he suggested the Duke of Sussex was content to be back on British soil. When questioned about whether the fifth in line to the throne was enjoying his return to the UK, he responded positively.

He also suggested the couple was experiencing less intrusive media attention than before, which had improved their circumstances. It comes after his wife Meghan was humiliated as she was given a savage new nickname.

Speaking following the pair's initial joint public outing since their return, he remarked, "I think he is being given a bit more space by the press than he might previously have been done. We haven't seen, for example, pap shots of him in the UK very much.

"We haven't seen a lot of that come out. It seems to me they're not being hounded as they might well have been in the past, which probably makes life a little bit easier. That's just me speculating. I've no idea, but I think they've had a really good day [at the appearance].

"I think they've done some good work for the youth of Nottingham. That's a good thing," he added. Archie and Harry are social acquaintances who have circulated in similar British upper-class networks for years, with Archie having served as an entertainer at the royal's 30th birthday party.

His comments followed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's warm reception as they completed their first joint public appearances in the UK since their summer return to the country.

They were met by an enthusiastic gathering of supporters upon their arrival for the day's activities in Nottingham, where they completed three separate engagements.

Their initial destination was the city's Community Recording Studio (CRS) at approximately 10.30am. Initially, it appeared that fewer than 100 individuals might comprise the gathering, but shortly before their arrival, additional arrivals raised the total to between 150 and 200.

Roughly 20 of those assembled represented Nottingham's Mencap - a local organization supporting individuals with learning disabilities and autism, as well as vulnerable community members.

Multiple supporters had brought flowers and balloons to present to the royal pair while they waited behind a barrier for the Sussexes' appearance. Upon the couple's arrival, they took a 20-minute walkabout before the formal engagement began, during which Meghan kissed one supporter on the cheek.

Harry and Meghan encountered musician and poet Jah Digga, who attended CRS as a child, while the Duchess participated in a confidence-building bracelet-making workshop with young girls. The Sussexes were once again surrounded by the crowd as they left the venue, with admirers requesting hugs, selfies and a brief interaction with the pair.

Meghan sent a 'secret' message to Princess Kate during the outing with Prince Harry.
