Following last month’s cancellation of Daredevil : Born Again , Charlie Cox is fueling hope that some blind justice will prevail.
While teasing the third and final season of the Disney+ series with his co-stars at New York Comic Con, the actor shouted out fans behind the “Save Daredevil ” campaign as the panel’s moderator mentioned the show’s pending conclusion.
“Wait, what?” asked the Matt Murdock actor jokingly, sparking “boo”s from disappointed fans.
Cox added, “All I’ll the say is, I imagine the ‘Save Daredevil ‘ campaign will be gearing up for round two. Listen, we don’t want to invite the wrath of the ‘ Save Daredevil ‘ people.” Watch on Deadline
The “ Save Daredevil ” fan campaign began in 2018 in response to Netflix’s cancellation of Daredevil after three seasons. The show was revived last year as Daredevil: Born Again on Disney+ with Cox reprising his role as the title vigilante.
