Does your cat enjoy chasing a laser around the house? Many cats do because the little dot reminds them of small prey like mice, triggering their natural hunting instinct…something cats love. If you’ve never got one for your cat, the Heart To Tail Cat Laser at Aldi is the perfect toy to keep your kitty entertained for hours.

This laser pointer was designed to engage your cat in playful exercise, helping to keep indoor cats active and happy. It comes in four colors, blue, white, green, and black, and costs just $9.99!

How To Safely Use a Laser to Play With Your Indoor Cat

According to PetMD, playing with a laser can be a lot of fun for your cat, but it’s important to use it correctly and safely. “You just need to make sure you are using the laser pointer in a safe manner that fulfills a cat’s hunting instinct and doesn’t cause stress.”

If your indoor cat isn’t very active, begin with just a couple of minutes of playtime to avoid exhausting them or causing an injury.

Never shine the laser directly into your cat’s eyes or aim it high on a wall, where your cat might try to jump for it and get hurt. You should also let your cat “catch” the dot occasionally. If they never catch it, some cats may quickly lose interest in the game.

Used safely, a laser can give your cat plenty of exercise while keeping them entertained for hours!
