Cats are always coming up with new, sometimes bizarre ways to take in the world. Climbing to the highest perch for a view is one thing, but others take a more dramatic path even if it makes them look a little silly.
One Calico cat not only has some of the wildest traits, but her personality quirks truly put her in a category all her own. Watch as this funny girl stands like a cute, furry Godzilla like it’s no big deal. Warning: You may fall in love with her weird ways!
The short TikTok clip shows exactly why Meow Meow isn’t your average kitty. Forget that she’s impossibly adorable with her little underbite and those unique thumbs that appear as though she’s constantly flipping the bird. Meow Meow’s Godzilla stance describes her perfectly, if only because she’s always been the kind of gal to march to a different drum, and we love that for her!
As with all of Meow Meow’s videos, there’s no shortage of newcomers questioning whether this cat is even real. While she looks AI, Meow Meow’s DNA is 90% feline, 5% awkward human, and 5% bird-flipping rebel.

Many people poured into the comments to let the Calico cutie know she’s beyond loved, but also to say everything about her awkwardness is too relatable.
One fan joked, “This is how I smile at people when I walk past them.” Another added, “Me watching the servers walk by with everyone else’s food before mine gets here.” Hundreds more stopped by just to muse at how cool of a kitty she is (the coolest). Everything she does is great, even this:
Why Do Cats Stand up on Their Hind Legs?
In most cases, cats stand on their hind legs in this meerkat-looking pose to quell their curiosity. These strange, wild, and wonderful bonus children know how to bring the entertainment, and there are a few reasons why kitties like Meow Meow might take this position.
Some may do this funny movie to get a better view of something out of reach or sight, while others might simply be stretching. If you’ve unintentionally taught your absolute unit of a cat they get a treat every time they stand, then you can bet these smart companions will stand up as often as they can.
As comical as it is, there’s always the possibility that they’re feeling apprehensive or threatened. Standing tall makes them look a little bigger and scarier, which helps them fend off potential danger. As long as your kitty is healthy and happy (and they show no signs of pain or injury when they do it), then take a page out of Meow Meow mom’s book and grab the camera—because this pose deserves its moment!
